BLUE WATERS LAKE RESERVE OUTING 11/09/22

An oasis hidden away amongst homes in Ocean Grove, the Blue Waters Lake Reserve was quite delightful.

Not large by any means and popular with local residents to wander or run around but it did offer the photographer a variety of water birds such as Spoonbills; White Egret, Pelicans, Black Swans with cygnets, Cormorant and a variety of ducks with ducklings. A number of birds were darting around and a pair of Willy Wagtails were flittering around their nest in a very easily accessible tree location which enabled their image capture.

Also, for the keen eyed photographer, flora and quite a few novelty subjects were available to capture in gardens abutting the lake which added some variety and humour to the outing.

A pleasant morning out and about and here are some photographs from the day.
