Welcome to the Geelong Camera Club

The Geelong Camera Club prides itself on being an informal, enthusiastic and friendly club which extends a warm welcome to anyone with an interest in photography.
Geelong Camera Club Inc, founded in 1889, is proud to be the longest continually operating club on the Australian mainland and currently has about 120 members.

During the ongoing technological revolution in photography, Geelong Camera Club still has a proud tradition in print photography and it remains one cornerstone of our club competitions.

We meet every Wednesday night (with a short break over the Christmas, New Year season) from 7.15pm for a 7.30pm start at our clubroom. We offer an interesting and varied program throughout the year, including guest speakers, members evenings, regular competitions, practical sessions, weekend outings and Special Interest Groups.

Club members vary from beginners to competent experts all with the aim of sharing knowledge, developing skills and participating in the practice and enjoyment of photography.
