COMPETITIONS
On the first Wednesday of each month (except January and July), Geelong Camera Club holds a Club competition which is judged by either a local, Melbourne or country judge. The competition is open to all members and has two grades: A and B.

Throughout the year Geelong Camera Club competes against other camera clubs in 2 Inter-Club Competitions, as well as the annual Victorian Association of Photographic Societies (VAPS) competition which involves all the camera clubs in Victoria.
We also compete in the Photographic Society of America (PSA) world-wide interclub competitions. We enter in Colour Open, Monochrome Open, Nature, Photo Travel and Photojournalism sections, three times a year in December, February and April.
An End of Year competition of all the Merit awarded images is held in June.
